***

## Como funciona um Pix

* O Stark Bank envia a solicitação de transferência.
* O banco recebedor precisa confirmar o recebimento.
* Normalmente isso acontece em segundos.
* Se o recebedor demora ou não responde, o pagamento fica em **processando**.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Esse comportamento não depende apenas do Stark Bank, mas também da resposta do banco recebedor.
{% endhint %}

***

## O que o Stark Bank faz nesses casos?

* O Stark Bank ativa um **mecanismo de retentativa automática**.
* A operação é reenviada várias vezes por até **2 horas**.
* Durante esse período, o status continua como **processando**.
* Se não houver resposta no prazo, a transferência é considerada **falha** e o valor retorna para a conta do cliente.

{% hint style="success" %}
Se o Pix não concluir, você sempre terá o valor de volta na sua conta.
{% endhint %}

***

## Posso configurar o número de retentativas?

**Sim**!

* **Menos retentativas** = finalização mais rápida (com maior chance de falha)
* **Mais retentativas** = mais tempo de espera (com maior chance de sucesso)

{% hint style="success" %}
Esse ajuste pode ser feito pela **API do Stark Bank**, conforme a necessidade da sua empresa. Consulte nossa [documentação da API](https://starkbank.com/docs/api) para configurar o parâmetro "resendingLimit", dentro de "rules".
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.starkbank.com/pagamentos-e-transferencias/tipos-de-pagamentos-e-transferencias/por-que-minha-transferencia-pix-esta-demorando-para-concluir.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
