# Consigo cancelar um boleto já pago?

Saiba o que fazer em casos de boletos que já foram pagos.

Após a realização do pagamento, infelizmente não é mais possível realizar o cancelamento da transação pelo sistema.

### Entenda o motivo

Assim que você efetua o pagamento, o boleto é automaticamente encaminhado para processamento. Ele permanece nesse status transicional até que o banco recebedor confirme o recebimento do valor. Uma vez que o pagamento entra nessa esteira de compensação, a operação se torna irreversível pelo Stark Bank

### 💡 O que fazer neste cenário? 

Como o cancelamento não pode ser feito pela plataforma, a orientação é entrar em contato diretamente com o recebedor (a pessoa ou empresa beneficiária do boleto) para explicar a situação e solicitar o ressarcimento do valor pago.
